๐๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ฏ๐๐ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ค๐๐ฒ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ฅ ๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐๐ฌ. When we are saved and go through the first day of being reborn, we are introduced into a different way of living, values and feelings. We used to be very easily stirred and emotionally up and downโeither happy or sad, or having no feeling toward the people around us; that was the old life. The first lesson in our spiritual living is to be introduced into a different kind of sense. Since we were saved and came into the church life, everything changed: the values changed, the outward enjoyment changed, even the things that frustrate us changed. We still face the same people surrounding us, but a different kind of sense develops in us to see things differently. This sense is from the divine life living in us.
๐ ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐๐๐ฒ ๐จ๐ง๐, ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐ก๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ก ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ ๐ก๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ญ ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐. We can start to enjoy something much more attuned to the human core. For example, say you drive 20 hours to take your whole family to vacation in a mountain cabin. You and your whole family travel out of your comfort zone, your home, and create another kind of intimacy. It provides new ways to interact with one another that you probably would never see in your everyday life. It doesnโt always require โheavy spiritual talkingโ with your family or vigilant observations of them; the enjoyment, building and growth in life happens because we have simply become sensitive to the divine life and realmโit is within us.
Letโs say that in this cabin is a small pool. As an excellent swimmer who can swim a 50-meter-long pool, itโs definitely no fun for you to jump into a shallow 5-meter-long one. But in a different senseโthe sense of lifeโyou should be the first one to jump in; the kids will be eager to follow you and jump in, too. There is a different kind of presence of being that is interacting with a different kind of need that you may rarely discover at home. When you engage this way, you cultivate a very specific type of life sense in between you and your family.
Many interactions like this donโt even require speaking. For example, if your being is available, you wonโt occupy the jacuzzi in the cabin aloneโyou will bring in a group of people and experience a different relationship or closeness that you usually donโt have at home. These interactions require your ๐๐ฏ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐ฌ ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐งโnot your good speech, especially as a parent; the whole point of being a parent is to be parallel with your kids, to be alongside them on their journey of growth and developmentโbeing a human being, a believer, to them. Thatโs where true family life is.
Being saved into the divine life is just like entering this cabin; suddenly we are in a realm where we are able to be sensitive to life and cultivate life-relationships with one another. ๐๐ก๐๐ญโ๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ก๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ก ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ซ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐ซโ๐ญ๐จ ๐ซ๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ณ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ฅ ๐ซ๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ ๐ญ๐จ๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ; ๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ซ๐ฐ๐ข๐ฌ๐ ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ฅ ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐ ๐ก๐๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ข๐ซ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐๐ง ๐๐ฆ๐๐จ๐๐ข๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ. So, on one hand, the church is spiritual, and on the other hand, the church has to be physical. But the physical things have to be in the nature of spiritual reality; otherwise our being together is missing the substanceโthat life sense.
When our relationships are involved with a very precise life sense, thatโs where the realization of the truth happens. That life sense is the regenerated sense, a new life that ceases the old life and all its conditions and old things at once. ๐๐ก๐ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ โ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ญ๐กโ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ง๐ฌ ๐ซ๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐ฐ๐ก๐ข๐๐ก ๐ก๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐๐ฒ. Just as the cabin hosts a specific atmosphere for living out the life sense together, the church is a divine domain, the base from which the truth is embodied and expressed in everyday living within the household. Truth without reality is just teaching and doctrineโgood theory, good ideas, good religion. What is the churchlife? It is nothing other than the base and pillar of the truth as the reality of the divine domain, a place where true life and its senses reign.
