God’s desire is to infuse Himself into man—to be blended with him. This is a longing that He has held within Him since before time began. It is for this cause that in each generation the Lord has raised a group of people to answer His call to recover the truth in the Bible. The traces of this desire and those who have responded are clearly recorded in the Bible. Yet, that fine line of faithful lovers of Christ is extended beyond those recorded generations; it is intricately woven throughout the past centuries to today. The Lord’s recovery—that fine line of His desire echoed within and carried out by man—has mercifully reached the 21st century. Its goal in this time is to recover a proper churchlife as His expression on the earth. Today, the truth of this line can no longer be carried by just a few spiritual giants; it must be seen in an organic living, a corporate expression, a human interface, and an economical action.
The churchlife expression is a corporate priesthood practiced by the functioning of each member. All who are called must carry this heavenly commitment together as one living unit—a living being. Organic living is accomplished only through a proper ecology, an ecology that exists exclusively for producing a proper humanity and fresh, dynamic, practical expression. This organic living, this proper humanity and this dynamic practical expression are each necessary to uphold this reality. The church life must be the face of man moving with precision according to the Lord’s administrative move today. Likewise, there is a need for a new literature: a literature that reaches the current age, using the tools of this time to convey the Lord’s desire to today’s generation.
This journal serves as an instrument for that purpose—it is a kaleidoscope reflecting, from all perspectives, this unique and unspeakable ecology: God intimately interwoven with man and lived out in a corporate man (the many as one). Under this light, this journal is not individual, unrelated writings from people simply sharing life events; it is, at its core, in nature, not about the individual person. All of the testimonies are presented here as many facets of one goal: to show this living expression, bright ecology, and quality humanity through our daily living together in our beloved city of Toledo.
